Audio/Video & Film
The Audio/Video Technology and Film pathway prepares students for entry to intermediate level employment/ career options as well as a wide range of post-secondary programs in the area of Broadcast/Video Production. This “hands-on” project-styled approach covers topics such as mass media, scriptwriting, production, programming, set production, lighting, recording, editing, and studio production.
In addition to our course offerings, the CCA Audio/Video Technology and Film program allows students to engage in work-based learning opportunities with local entities, membership in Career Technology Student Organizations (CTSO) such as SKILLS USA, and live streaming opportunities where students are actual crew members of an on-sight crew that has the responsibility for airing live events such as Carroll County Sports events, concerts and other special programs.
